Responsibilities include supervising and scheduling all tellers to ensure branch efficiency. In addition duties encompass the accurate and efficient processing of all teller transactions for Bank customers in a prompt and courteous manner. Incumbent is responsible for managing and directing the efforts of the other tellers. Perform the following duties which include but are not limited to: cashing checks processing deposit transactions balancing cash drawer issuing cashiers checks and processing loan payments etc. according to the BankPlus Teller Manual. Process cash advances collection items and series EE Bonds according to Bank procedures. Balance General Ledger accounts Travelers Checks and Food Stamps. Balance Branch Cash Tracker. Orders cash and perform daily branch cash recap.
This position requires two years teller experience and some supervisory experience. Possess the ability to work well in a team environment problem solving skills ability to follow procedures detail-oriented and organized ability to multi-task and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of proper English and punctuation is necessary. Must possess basic PC skills knowledge of all Microsoft office products.
