As a part of Guaranty Bank's management and leadership team, you will bring your sales, banking and management experience to be an instrumental part of our growth while building your career path. Our branch managers oversee the operations and sales functions of the entire branch while delivering superior customer service to our clients. You will be leading our entire team in making sales presentations, conducting training, handling transactions, processing financial documents, and using your experience to make sound decisions about what is best for our associates and customers.
Effective hands-on management and leadership of the entire team at the branch
Teaching and leading our associates as they make transactions, open new accounts, make sales presentations, interact with customers to provide exceptional service, solve problems, and much more
Performance management leadership: Hold sales associates accountable for reaching monthly goals and targets and growing their skill sets
Coach employees to establish best sales practices and provide excellent customer service
Adhere to compliance regulations and bank policy to ensure that business is conducted in the right way
Work hands-on with customers by conducting transactions, fact-finding about to understand their banking needs and to earn their future business
Participate in company trainings and be able to train your staff at the branch
Must have a minimum of 3-5 years sales management experience along with banking experience in a sales culture.
In-store banking experience is preferred.
Proven track record to meet/exceed the position expectations.
Experience with goal-based compensation and have the ability to manage individuals that have individual and team goals.
Energetic, self-motivated, and initiate innovative approaches to the marketing effort.
Proven success in coaching and developing employees to meet and exceed job expectations.
Ability to manage multiple people in different roles simultaneously.
Ability to recruit and retain top banking talent
Ability to manage people one on one and conduct performance reviews, give accurate feedback and coach employees
Ability to read, analyze and interpret financial reports and documents.
Ability to interact with customers, understand their goals and financial needs and recommend solutions.
Ability to present information to top managers, employees, public groups and/or board of directors.
Ability to master basic math concepts such as statistical information, interest, percentages and proportions related to financial matters
Ability to sit, stand, talk, hear, reach with hands and arms and operate a computer.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Track record of success in recruiting and leading associates in a retail environment
Experience in managing people in a goal setting environment where compensation was goal driven with multiple product sales
Ability to manage and coach people in an environment of accountability
High school diploma, GED or equivalent required
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a 4-year college or university preferred
