Job Description:
The Branch Manager manages operations in order to
achieve safety, continuous improvement, and operating
results in a facility dedicated to supporting the coal,
power generation, and construction markets. Also,
provides recommendations and customer information in the
development and implementation of product improvements
and new products to meet the needs of the market.

Essential functions include:
  • Supporting and driving results and local
  • Maintains and updates strategic business plan
  • Providing professional and efficient customer
service for assigned markets
  • Branch administration
  • Store inventory
  • Sales activities
  • Produces inventory load reports, special sales
activities and market analysis for site product line
  • Keeps organization on track to hit annual
profitability targets through team efforts
accomplishing related results
  • Routinely meets with the management group to develop
sales strategies and goals to support local and NA
  • Supports remote inventories, working directly with
Supply Chain
  • Effectively accomplishes staff results by
communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring
and appraising job results; coaching, counseling and
disciplining employees; complying with legal
requirements; understanding and enforcing company
policies and procedures
  • · Responsibility for financial activities
  • · Driving Safety and QVS results at the branch on a
continuous basis with an approved plan
  • · Ensuring all employees receive necessary training
and certifications needed
  • Bachelor’s degree required ideally in business or
other related field.
  • Five or more years of industry related sales
experience a must.
  • Ten or more years of industry related experience in
coal and/or construction strongly preferred.
  • Continuous Improvement and Lean leadership
experience preferred.
  • Ability to create and foster excellent customer
rapport and relationships.
