Job Purpose and Scope:

Daily supervision of operations and personnel at branch office and coordination of customer service, consumer lending, and business development activities of the branch. Responsible for expanding the customer base through successful selling of bank products. Performs the job in a manner that will enhance the quality of service provided to our internal and external customers.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Ensure customers are provided with exceptional service at all times.

  • Oversee daily operations of branch to ensure standard operating procedures are followed

  • Error resolution

  • Direct supervisory functions of Customer Service Representative and Teller staff including:

    • Performance measurement

    • Discipline

    • Promotion and salary recommendations

    • Employment decisions in coordination with Human Resources, i.e., hiring and terminations

    • Scheduling

    • Assigning and reviewing work

    • Training (Banker Academy)

  • Assist customers and prospective customers by opening new accounts and cross-selling additional bank services

  • Engage in business development and customer relationship activities within the branch market

  • Plan and monitor operating budget for branch

  • Monitor performance reports and take corrective action when necessary

  • Monitor of cash balances of all tellers and vault

  • Monitor and oversee all teller procedures and transactions (balancing, bait money, what checks to cash, initials on transaction, etc.)

  • Oversee campaign leads and alerts in Bankers Insight

  • Oversee branch goals

  • Responsible for balancing and maintenance on ATM

  • Responsible for overall branch security, and adherence to policy and procedures

  • Maintain good punctuality and attendance to work

  • Drive an automobile on company business

  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Knowledge of new account and teller operation procedures

  • Knowledge of banking regulations

  • Business development skills

  • Ability to work as a teller and customer service representative

  • Ability to drive an automobile on company business

  • Ability to work extended hours as needed

  • Position Requirements

    Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum two (2) years teller operations experience and new accounts experience

  • Minimum two (2) years experience in a leadership role such as Head Teller, Assistant Branch Manager, or equivalent

  • High diploma or equivalent

  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record
