Under the guidance and direction of the Director of Marketing, this position is responsible for the implementation, execution, and communication of all aspects of the marketing plans within the Specialty Distribution Markets as defined for Interline Brands. This includes strategy development, marketing campaign execution, market trade shows, and communication. This position is the liaison with various departments to facilitate the implementation of marketing plans and sales growth. Collaborate with shared marketing resources in these and other functional areas to assure a consistent flow of information and attainment of sales goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Execution of marketing strategies in all marketing media and channels available
Use and develop analytics to target appropriate customer segments, message relevance
In support of the brand strategies and initiatives develop campaigns for customer retention, win-back and acquisition; product promotion; sales initiatives; and related marketing activities.
Execution of all marketing programs and appropriate use of the appropriate marketing channels
Develop, maintain and proactively communicate with appropriate departments a marketing campaign calendar for all marketing activities
Responsible for timely development, communication and release of all media; catalog, web updates, email campaigns, flyer campaigns, advertising programs and all other marketing communications
Provide ongoing marketing KPI’s for all activities within the market; ensure all campaigns have a forecast and an estimated MROI
Collaborate with the Ecommerce team to ensure the brand is maximizing the channel
Provide marketing support for the sales teams through regular communication and development of marketing materials
Regular collaboration with the sales team is required with the Sales force to maximize the impact of various marketing programs and product releases, including training, house account assignment, promotional materials, catalog development and trade show preparation
Understand product assortment to ensure an appropriate marketing cost-benefit
Participate in various industry trade shows as required
This position is the liaison and central communication point for sales, merchandising and all departments within IBI
Execution of pricing strategies for product groups and markets
Develop the brand image by using the brand’s interlutual properly appropriately to advance the brand image.
Manage communications with major trade organizations including press releases
Catalog/flyer layouts using recommendations including layout, color and art
Maintain communication with sales organization for non-product issues.
This position may have direct reporting personnel but requires a high degree of collaboration and communication with other departments.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelors’ degree in Marketing or Business, MBA preferred with three to five years experience in marketing, sales, product or brand management, preferably in a distribution environment.
Collaboration abilities, teamwork and inter-departmental communication skills are critical to the success of this position.
Nearly all of the tasks required in this position require highly competent computer skills.
Data collection and analytical skills are paramount to analyze product performance, market trends and pricing.
Sound business reasoning and the ability to use facts to make profitable decisions is required.
