JOB SUMMARY:
The purpose of Bridges (a community hub concept), is to develop a coordinated and integrated, local system of care that is community-based and focused on increasing healthy births, decreasing child abuse and neglect and increasing school readiness in specific geographical areas. The Triple P/Child Development Director is responsible for the Bridges domain of parent engagement: developing and overseeing the Triple P services, the ASQ component services, parent peer support, and coordinating with the parenting support program (Incredible Years).

DUTIES
The Triple P / Child Development Director is responsible for the Bridges domain of parent engagement:
Oversee the implementation and success of the Triple P Level 3 services according to the Bridges contract at the 6 sites managed by Housing Partnership. This includes the ETO data system and all other related tracking and reports.
Develop and oversee the ASQ component services: ASQ-3 screening with parents, developing the 'Raise Me Up' parent / child support component for all sites. This includes the Excel and/or HBDS data system and all other related tracking and reports.
Develop and oversee the parent peer support component. This includes all related tracking and reports.
Coordinate with the subcontracted Lead Agency responsible for the parenting education program (Incredible Years). Be responsible for the recruitment of families for this component.
Provide direct supervision and functional support to the Parent Coaches and Child Development Specialists under the HP Bridges contract.
Oversee the Triple P peer support and quality assurance including chart reviews. Monitor and track the established Triple P milestones for contract compliance at each site.
Develop and oversee the parent peer support component to be implemented in the 2013-14 fiscal year.
Effectively communicate and coordinate with the Bridges Directors at each site. Effectively participate in matrix supervision / management of these positions with the site-based Bridges Directors.
QUALIFICATIONS
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Masters' Degree required, in field related to child development preferred
Minimum of 3 years of work experience related to child development
Minimum of 3 years of experience in management & supervision skills
Experience in matrix management/supervision preferred
Training certification in Touch Points and Triple P, Level 3 strongly recommended
Training certification in Solution Focused Training preferred
Flexibility in work hours, including evenings and week-ends
Reliable transportation
Strong communication skills - in public speaking and writing
