A Budget/Management Analyst I performs a limited range of budget or management analysis, fiscal research or related work. Employees in this class work a conventional workweek.

On or before the date of filing the application, each candidate must:
Have a Bachelor’s degree in business, public administration, public policy, economics, accounting, statistics, political science or operations research from an accredited college or university;
Have one year of experience in the analysis of budgets, management operations, government programs, statistics, economics, public policy, legislation or systems.
A Master’s degree in business, public administration, public policy, economics, accounting, statistics, political science or operations research from an accredited college or university may be substituted for one year of the experience requirement.
