Clark University’s Undergraduate Admissions seeks an experienced Budget Coordinator/Assistant to the Dean to manage the admissions departmental budgets including processing and tracking all income and expense transactions; as well as providing support to the Dean of Admissions & Financial Aid; and coordinating various admissions programs relating to recruitment activities and scholarship management.

This position has a heavy emphasis on budgets and expense/revenue transactions and requires the ability to analyze and produce budget reports, as well as the timely processing of transactions such as staff travel payments, check requests, fund transfers, etc. Duties also include ordering and maintaining office supplies, managing the Dean’s American Express invoices and expense reports; scheduling meetings/appointments for the Dean; serving as liaison with physical plant regarding upkeep and maintenance for the Admissions facilities; coordinating several special projects and scholarship programs; and other administrative duties relating to the admissions recruitment cycle as assigned by the Dean and other leadership staff in the Admissions Department.

Applicants should have a customer service focus with a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of closely related experience including accounting/budgeting/bookkeeping. Requirements include strong oral and written communication skills; top notch organizational skills with demonstrated attention to detail and accurate work results in a high-activity, constant-interruption environment; ability to develop and manage budgets; and be able to work independently and effectively with both internal and external constituents at various levels within and outside Clark University. Excellent computer skills and the ability to learn new technology and software applications are also required.

This is a 35 hour/week position (9am – 5pm) with a starting hourly rate of $13.60 - $14.10 depending on experience. Excellent benefits include tuition benefits, health insurance, generous retirement plan, 4 weeks’ vacation, free use of athletic and fitness center, and many more.
