We are currently seeking a Building Engineer to service our client, ConAgra Foods in Omaha, NE.

This position will require 12-hour shifts, consisting of 3 days on, 4 days off.

DUTIES

Strong background in electrical field required

Ability to read and understand electrical diagrams and one line drawing

Capable of using electrical meters and understanding of testing procedures

Working knowledge of, UPS, generator and site critical infrastructure systems

Maintain the HVAC equipment for properties assigned. Responsible for the seasonal operation of building HVAC equipment, including domestic water boilers, chillers and air conditioning systems

Routine mechanical HVAC related repairs and replacements

Conducts routine equipment examinations and maintains detailed preventative maintenance records as directed

Testing and maintenance of property life safety systems, emergency lighting, fire extinguishers, emergency generators and UPS systems

Perform repairs of plumbing, light fixtures, doors, hardware, light electrical, replacing lights, all building maintenance related items, including trash pick up, delivery of items requested by management

QUALIFICATIONS

High school education; Vo-tech education or college degree a plus

3 years of commercial experience as a building engineer

Stationary Engineers license preferred but not required

Strong human relation skills in order to interact positively with a wide range of people

Basic computer familiarity

Very strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities

Ability to work in a team environment
