The Maintenance Manager is responsible for the personnel, service facilities, equipment, and tools required to maintain the designated facilities and restaurants used in the operation of Keystone Ski Resort.
Job Responsibilities :
Develops implements and monitors short and long range goals for all maintenance tech.
Conduct preventive inspections on mountain facilities. Identifies problems and makes corrective action and change as needed
Creates and oversees the operating budgets, complies with company financial guidelines. Daily monitoring and updating of department financials.
Knowledgeable of Vail Resorts policies and procedures
Monitors departmental payroll in a timely and accurate manner. Seek to minimize overtime
Knowledge and compliance of building permits and county policies
Monitors weekly service scores and implements changes to improve scores
Hire, train, develop, coach, discipline & terminate staff.
Prepares mid season and annual performance appraisals, support professional development of employees
Develop strategy to fully utilize Micro Main software
Conducts weekly safety meetings with staff
Develops Capital Maintenance Strategy for Buildings and Projects
Maintains professional appearance of staff, facilities and office areas
Coordinate contractors with Mountain Operations
High School Diploma or Technical Degree (Journeyman)
At least 5 years experience in Building Maintenance/Construction
At least 3 years experience supervising/managing others
Valid US Drivers License
Computer Proficient and experience with Microsoft Office
Fluent in English
Good organizational skills
Problem solving skills
Time Management skills.
CDL, heavy equipment operations, power tools - prefered
