Position may be located in any WLP location or work from a home office and will be filled at any of the three job levels dependent on experience. The Client Reporting and Advisory team is responsible for providing Enterprise-wide health care financial and analytical services and information for employers, consultants, and brokers. Essential duties include but are not limited to: creates and maintains databases; analyzes data and summarizes performance using summary statistical procedures; develops and analyzes reports (e.g., for claims data, provider data, and utilization data) and highlights any patterns/inconsistencies; creates and publishes periodic reports; as well as any ad hoc reports as needed. Will also be responsible for analyzing customer reporting requirements and developing meaningful reports that meet the customer need, and preparing presentations for external clients.
BS/BA or equivalent combination of education and experience, and 2-5 years health care data analysis or related experience required (2-3 years experience required for Business Information Analyst II level). Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, written communication and presentation skills are required. Experience using Health Care Decision Support Tools, such as Medstat Decision Analyst, Ingenix Impact Intelligence, or D2 Explorer is also preferred
Healthcare experience is required, managed care is preferred. Must be proficient in Excel, and Access. Experience with Business Objects, SQL are preferred. Presentation skills are a plus and PowerPoint is a plus.
