Job Description & Qualifications
Position Duties:

This position involves ongoing support for key plant floor systems applications like “Maximo for Maintenance”- Asset, inventory and maintenance management systems and a group of “Material Replenishment” Systems in stamping, assembly & powertrain plants

Individual will part of a global application support team and is required to work in a diverse manufacturing environment with global footprint applications deployed in plants across the world.

Key job duties include:
·
Application support (incident triage, analysis, resolution & closure) and business support (working directly with customers to address queries, provide reporting, perform risk assessments), using global IT Operations processes (ITIL/ITSM based).
·
Manage incidents & problem tickets in BMC service desk tool
·
Perform Technical Maintenance & health checks, including security & controls of applications
·
Work with application development team to support release of new application features, bug fixes, as well launches to new sites
·
Support IT operations strategic improvement initiatives (adoption of global ITMS problem & change mgmt. processes)

Minimum Requirements:
·


Strong analytical, problem solving & communication skills
·
3-5 yrs. experience in Oracle, PL/SQL, SqlPlus, Java, J2EE, Java scripts, Java servlets, VB scripts
·
1-2 yrs. C, C++ , .NET, ASP, XML
·
Min 3 yrs. Application development/support experience in Windows and Oracle 9i
·
1-2 yrs. experience with quality control of software (test plan, testing & bug fixes or identify workarounds prior to releasing s/w in production)
·
Experienced working with DB tools – ODBC, TOAD, TSO/ISPF
·
Experienced working in globally distributed teams
·
Experience working in cross-functional global team setup
·
Awareness/working knowledge of ITIL/ITSM
·
Ability to communicate & collaborate with business users, management & technical staff
·
Bachelors of Science in Information Technology or Computer Science/Engineering
Preferred Requirements :
·
Hands on experience in IBM Maximo tools
·
Work experience in a Unix/Linux environment
·
Previous Plant Floor Systems experience
·
Understanding of SDM, SCRP, ACR, OIC experience
·
Prior Ford IT experience is plus
·
Desire to learn new things, strong team player, drive to take on challenging assignments
·
Experience working in cross-functional global team setup
·
Commitment to quality of deliverables
