A Business Process Consultant conducts process analysis and re-engineering efforts related to the analysis, design and simulation of complex business systems, requiring a detailed and extensive understanding of the organization's business systems and industry requirements and the understanding of technical problems and solutions as they relate to the current and future business environment. Creates process change by integrating new processes with existing ones and communicating these changes to impacted Business Systems teams. Recommends and facilitates quality improvement efforts. May lead re-engineering team and act as project manager in some cases.

Management of Standard Procurement System (SPS) testing.
Development and review of Engineering Change Proposals - Software (ECP-S).
Participating in Initial Design Reviews (IDRs) and Critical Design Reviews (CDRs).
Reviewing Functional Specification Descriptions (FSDs) and end user documentation.
Developing Quick Reference Guides.
Reviewing and editing test scripts.
Coordinating integration testing.
Participating in Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs) and in daily Data Authentification Group (DAG) meetings. Providing expert advice on prioritization of system test issues/problem reports (PRs).
Serving as approval authority advisor for all issues reported in the Joint Program Management Office (JPMO) issue tracking system.
Maintaining system presentation charts.
Evaluating PRweb and SPS-C synchronization.
Consulting support to the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army (Procurement) (DASA(P)). Perform research and provide recommendations to DASA(P) on given subjects.
Providing scoring recommendations and justifications for issues reported in SPS Bugzilla.
Developing training and conducting training to external and internal personnel.
Writing policy guidance for DASA(P) and monitoring for compliance.
Providing help desk support to SPS end user community.

Required Experience:
5 years of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) experience with a key focus on system interface testing, training, and implementation
10 years of work experience in a CMMI Maturity Level 3 environment
15 years of Federal procurement experience
