We require a Business Analyst with excellent understanding of OTC trade lifecycles with Dodd Frank experience. Duties include:
Gathering and analyzing data
Carrying out both high level and detailed Business analysis
Arranging meetings with business specialists and IT to ensure the requirements are well understood and are complete and accurate
Documenting thoroughly all the business and functional requirements including current and future state process diagrams
Producing business case and project initiation documents
Identifying and co-ordinate any training requirements resulting from process changes
Producing Test strategy, Functional Test cases and UAT test cases
Identifying risks and their mitigation and communicating to the project manager and stakeholders
Business Analysis experience within the Investment Banking Operations area are essential, with a proven record of the management and delivery of a range of system or operational improvement projects.
Experience as well as a good understanding of the life cycle of Client Clearing
Understanding of OTC Derivatives (FX, Rates & Credit) &/or Listed Derivatives model would be highly advantageous
Solid understanding of Project Management concepts, processes and best practices
Working experience of capturing business requirements and developing detailed functional specifications
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, MS Project
Proficient in diagramming tools like MS Visio
Familiarity with business case development and benefits tracking
Experience working within large financial services organizations
Experience working with global, multi-region initiatives and team
People management experience (both direct and virtual) would be beneficial
They will need to be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment, and to be able to handle frequently changing business priorities.
Strong analytical skills, ability to assimilate information quickly and gain consensus from multiple stakeholders where required.
Experience of driving change forward and liaison with multiple business groups
Understanding of the full project lifecycle
A lateral thinker who can explore concepts outside of current work flows and environments in search of improvements and solutions
Experience in documentation and execution of Project Testing Requirements and Lifecycles
Analytical problem solving skills
