Understands the business processes associated with the project and ensures the solution is designed and built to meet business requirements and is fit for its intended use.
  • Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver artifacts as required.
  • Elicit requirements for projects and enhancements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis.
  • Serve as the conduit between the customer community and the software development team through which requirements flow.
  • Leads user acceptance testing for major initiatives, small projects and enhancements ensuring that the final solution delivers against business requirements for the commercial applications (CRM, POS and Data Warehouse).
  • Provide support to Managers in developing business cases by providing business benefits analysis and estimates for area of responsibility (business requirements, functional design, business processes, UAT).
  • Develop, maintain and present project status reports and statistics according to Project Management Office requirements.

  • Required Skills Demonstrated experience in gathering requirements from stakeholders such as interviews, JAD sessions and or other techniques. Capable of translating and presenting technical concepts into practical business terms for leaders both small and large group settings.

    Demonstrated excellence in documentation skills with a strong attention to detail. Experience building user scenarios, use cases, process flow diagrams, and writing detailed functional requirements documents.

    Strong ability to collaborate with senior leadership, senior technologists, Business Partners and people at all levels to define business processes, analyze operational efficiencies, implement creative solutions and measure delivery results.

    Ability to gather and interpret relevant data and information using BI tools (Business Objects) to develop key performance indicators and analytics.

    Required Experience
    • Strong written and verbal communications skills and the ability to effectively express complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
    • Business experience that includes working closely with IT in the development and implementation of medium to large-scale integrated systems
    • Strong presentation skills and enthusiasm
    • Business process knowledge in Sales and Marketing
    • Business objects experience a plus
    • Project management experience a plus
    • Bachelor’s degree with focus on IT, CS, or related field, BA or BS
    • 3-6 years of business analysis experience, preferably with a manufacturing business
    • 3-5 years of CRM or Data Warehouse functional experience
