This position provides guidance of available technologies identifies and implements process improvements and production support for information technology applications used by marketing retail business units.
Meets with customers to gather and document effective business requirements and translates requirements to system design.
Maps and analyzes end to end business processes within third party and proprietary systems as well as integration with SAP.
Implements new systems and enhancements with appropriate testing, change management and communication with minimal rework.
Develops test plans, support documentation and training material for supported systems.
Identifies researches and resolves system issues proactively and provides recommendations to management, customers and peers.
Supports end-user requests and coordinates within IT framework to ensure effective use of current IT systems
Minimum undergraduate degree in information systems, business administration required.
Minimum 3 years diversified information technology experience.
Minimum 2 years analytical and business requirements gathering experience as team member on information technology project typically required.
Preferred retail industry, credit card processing and oil/gas industry experience.
Knowledge of Oil and Gas industry systems (Laboratory Information systems, process data historians, oil movement systems, etc).
Ability to work in demanding and deadline driven environment which may require work after normal business hours.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize work with minimal supervision.
Able to travel.
Must have the aptitude to develop high-level expertise in business or corporate processes
Strong ability and desire to work well with others and balance the needs of all levels of users and IT stakeholders, including IT staff and management.
Flexibility when encountering changing work priorities.
