Main Objective:
Business application support in a manufacturing and distribution environment

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Participates in gathering user/customer requirements
• Assist in the automation of operations to create a state-of-art environment
• Ability to train users on ERP, SCM, WMS, PLM and related systems
• Maintain documentation and change control
• Analyze business process potentials for streamlining and improvements in efficiencies
• Meet regularly with departments to solicit feedback on needs
• Participate in writing specifications for programming projects
• Documentation and change management of custom code
• Project Management

Requirements Education and Experience:
• At least two years experience in:
a. Building and enhancing custom solutions using Oracle development tools
b. WMS Systems with Barcode Scanning, Labeling, Lot control - Oracle Mobile S/C preferred
c. Supply Chain Mgmt. Systems (SCM) – Oracle EBS required; Discrete Manufacturing experience a plus
• Bachelors Degree required. Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred (Medical Device manufacturing experience a plus)
• Experience in a regulated, high-value, or perishables distribution operation preferred (Medical, Pharma, etc.)
• Experience with small-parcel shipping (Connectship, FedEx, UPS) preffered
Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:
• Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
• APICS, PMP, Oracle, QAD, Microsoft certifications a plus
Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:
PC servers, workstations and laptops. Microsoft environment. Work with standard current office computer applications. Also, ERP, SCM, WMS, MES, PLM and CRM applications.
