Job Description Responsibilities:
Business Analyst III is responsible for leading the functional requirements gathering team. The candidate works directly with internal customers to understand the business environment and needs. Identifies relevant design, process and specification issue.
1) Develop and Review business requirements and data mapping documents, perform business validations and testing's, and other project documentations as required.
2) Attend meetings and communicate with Business partners and Technology partners to clarify and validate business and data requirements, and testing issues.
3) Production Support - Review and Analyze data loading and transformation process throughout the mortgage loan life cycle in the data warehouse. Provide customer service support for upstream/downstream systems and data users.
Data querying skills - Must be able to query against large amount of data in Oracle
Analytical skills - Must be able to apply critical / analytical thinking in business process in a financial and mortgage data environment.
Familiar with entire SDLC especially experienced in developing test plan, test cases, and executing test scenarios
Mortgage loans knowledge (especially Single Family mortgages)
Great communication skills to communicate with upstream system, business partners, and technology partners (i.e. Developers, Testers)
Like to Have's:
Someone who is familiarize with Clear Quest and HP Quality Center application.
Someone who is familiarize with corporate data warehouse environments and processes.
Knowledge in Financial data and Mortgage loans
Understanding of and experience with Relational Database (Tool: Business Objects, Toad, SQL Developer)
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), MS Project, MS Visio
