The Business Analyst is responsible for establishing and maintaining a thorough understanding of Wilbur-Ellis business processes to ensure that system functionality and performance meet current and future business requirements. The Business Analyst will work closely with the business users and the technical IT staff to interpret business strategies and objectives to support and implement appropriate system application solutions. The Analyst will also be the SalesForce.com Administrator, responsible for managing Salesforce.com for the Division, including defining business requirements, support and perform enhancements, monitoring end-user usage, and performing additional administrative tasks related to overall reporting and data integrity.

Responsibilities:
Position Responsibilities
  • Liaison between the business and IT department for all technology issues and projects
  • Responsible for identifying, documenting and leading business process redesign projects
  • Able to analyze and understand key business processes and assist in the development of improvements to those processes
  • Identify opportunities and evaluate the feasibility for new technology solutions within the Division
  • Responsible for preparing business requirement documentation for new IT projects and translating user requirements into functional requirements
  • Manage Salesforce.com applications, including links to ERP and other applications, by:
    • Developing and maintaining customer reports , dashboards, and workflows
    • Maintaining user authorization and permissions
    • Maintaining data integrity and protocols
    • Analyzing end-user adoption and recommending further opportunities to increase usage
  • Work as part of core group to analyze business practice and provide operational solutions that provides consistent systems information and data
  • Support the integration of new acquisitions to core systems
  • Train users on proper business process and use of enterprise systems

    • Thorough working knowledge of business process, system process and business intelligence.
    • Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modeling, verification, and methodology development.
    • Ability to create systematic and consistent requirements specifications in both technical and user-friendly language.
    • Conduct research into systems issues and products as required.
    • Communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
    • Highly self-motivated and directed.
    • Keen attention to detail.
    • Excellent listening and interpersonal skills.

    Qualifications:
    • Four year degree from an accredited college or university in the field of computer science, information science, management information systems, engineering, science, business administration or accounting.
    • 3+ years of Salesforce.com administrator responsibilities.
    • Salesforce.com Certification is preferred.
    • Experience working with Tier I ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, or JD Edwards) is a plus
    • Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modeling, verification, and methodology development.
    • Position will require some travel.
