The Business Analyst's primary function is to gather and document business and technical requirements as they relate to customer marketing system solutions. The Business Analyst is responsible for marshaling Customer Marketing Technology projects through the standard project methodology from Strategy through Run Phases. This position will require a resource with strong project management skills, who can partner with the business team and vendors to implement and deliver integrations, specific application modules, and web services which meet the requirements of the Global Customer Marketing organization while simultaneously adhering to the Hilton Enterprise Architectural Standards. The Business Analyst is expected to maintain strong relationships with internal and external technical resources and key business stakeholders.

What will I be doing?
Specifically you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Escalation and problem management
Document post-mortem reviews of escalation with outsourced vendor
Review trends in incidents with vendors to recommend process improvements and reduce downtime
Define project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases, and elements; forming project team; establishing project budget.
Monitor project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions.
Develops and maintains documentation to improve marketing systems designs in order to adhere to Hilton best practices.
Coordinate user acceptance testing and signoff\
Ensure project milestones are met by internal and/or vendor teams.
Design new systems by analyzing requirements; constructing architectural artifacts; studying system capabilities; writing specifications.
Oversee vendor design and implementation of systems.

To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:
Four (4) year college degree or equivalent work experience in lieu thereof.
Minimum of one (1) year project management or related experience.
Minimum of one (1) year experience in business requirements definition.
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
Minimum of one (1) year demonstrated expertise in the development project life cycle and in the delivery of integrations across multiple platforms and components.
Minimum of one (1) year familiarity with a broad range of existing Hilton Worldwide applications.
Minimum of one (1) year experience in a visual modeling tool, preferably UML.
Minimum of two (2) years knowledge of business process analysis, optimization and modeling.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint)
