he Business Applications Developer will accomplish a variety of business analytics, development and support activities within the Linkabit COGNOS, SAP Business Objects, and SharePoint environments. Will be responsible for developing new business services and capabilities, enhancing existing capabilities and services, performing system documentation, assisting in administration and support, and participating in application integration activities

Qualifications

Position requires expertise and at least three years of experience in MS SQL Database management and administration, at least three years of experience in Business Intelligence/Business Analytics development and administration in COGNOS, SAP Business Objects or equivalent, and the ability to work with stakeholders to translate business requirements into actionable IT strategy.

Advanced knowledge and experience in Business Intelligence design, development and administration, including experience in KPI definition and Data Dictionary creation, and advanced experience with cube and framework creation, scripts and business rules creation, and report and dashboard development is also required.

Advanced knowledge of business workflows and an in-depth understanding of the capabilities of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2010 is strongly preferred, including development experience with InfoPath and Microsoft.NET technologies. Any Business Intelligence and/or SharePoint certifications are a plus. Deltek CostPoint or TIP/QA experience is preferred.

Must also have the ability to work on several projects simultaneously with interruptions. Practical problem solving skills and solid troubleshooting skills are required as well as excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to document actions and procedures. Proven customer service and user support experience is required, including excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team. Must also be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail are critical to the role. Must be self-motivated and directed, with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.
