Responsible for overall Branch profitability, safety, soundness and client and associate satisfaction and retention. Creates and implements Branch business plan. Partners with others on the management team of the branch to strategically deploy resources to maximize individual and team performance and meet Branch goals. Continually surveys the market area to update and implement appropriate business plan. Effectively acquires, manages and grows profitable account relationships with an emphasis on moderately complex and medium sized business customers that have annual gross sales generally of $2MM to $25MM. Performs effective financial analysis and underwriting in the areas of credit, cash flow and collateral. Monitors the unit's credit quality including ensuring compliance with risk management and covenant tracking procedures. Leads the branch to ensure the overall success and growth of an assigned portfolio by deepening relationships with existing customers and through acquiring new customers. Partners with Line of Business representatives in creating a collaborative action plan to strategically exceed revenue growth goals. Provides a tactical approach to campaigns, client calls, referral follow-up, etc. Responsible to report month-to-month progress toward goal accomplishments to Business & Personal Banking management, and manage/change/update business plan (as applicable) to meet targets.
      Qualifications
      : Requires a Bachelor's in Business Administration, Finance or other related filed and 6+ years in business banking sales and credit management. An equivalent combination of education and experience may meet qualifications. Employs strong knowledge of all areas of credit, including commercial, real estate, and/or business sales and lending. Must have demonstrated sales experience, negotiation skills, portfolio management skills, basic accounting and small business credit underwriting skills.. Must be familiar with regulatory issues and financial reporting. Must have strong leadership and mentoring skills. Supervisory or management experience required. This position requires Federal Registration with the National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS), in accordance with the SAFE Act.
