Working full-time hours and reporting to the Vice President, this confident, results oriented team player will be able to sell our services in a specific territory by utilizing superior communication skills and their extensive knowledge of the logistics industry.

  • Contact potential clients by means of cold calls, internal referrals / leads and recommendations from present clients
  • Meet with potential clients on a daily basis to describe our services and to obtain the necessary information to prepare a business proposal
  • Make formal sales presentation to potential clients
  • Work as an intermediary between the client and all relevant departments to ensure that the necessary information has been gathered and relayed
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining sales prospect reports
  • Some overnight travel may be required
  • Other duties as assigned
Required Education / Skills
  • Sales experience and post-secondary education in sales / marketing is required
  • Must have excellent knowledge of logistics / freight forwarding including customs requirements
  • Well organized with excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Familiarity with various computer software packages (MS Word, Lotus Notes, Excel, and PowerPoint)
