In addition to maintaining existing accounts the role of this position is to find applications within the electronics industry that are experiencing or may experience problems with the adverse effects of moisture, oxygen or volatile organics (VOC’s). Electronics are being pushed outside the traditional operating environment and as a result are being subjected to conditions that may affect performance or cause catastrophic failures.

Some of the applications are as follows:

Typically these do not encompass consumer electronics which tend to be more of a disposable market. The electronics industry as a whole is not very well versed with the adverse effects of these contaminants and often they are overlooked and will go un-noticed for a period of time depending on the operating environment. The role of this position is to educate the industry enough to sell Multisorb’s value and technology in preventing these failure modes, extending service life, and reducing warranty claims in new and existing device designs.

You will also coordinate with manufacturing, engineering, and marketing on new product designs to meet customer demand. This position requires 50 - 60% travel.

To qualify, you must have a bachelors degree in electrical or chemical engineering or a related field. A minimum of five to seven years of experience is required in outside technical sales, preferably selling materials to the semiconductor or electro-optical device industry, or selling such devices. The successful candidate will have exceptional selling and negotiating skills in a technical environment.
