We are looking for a natural salesperson who can sell conceptual custom applications based on Google Maps APIs. The idea candidate can translate technical concepts into terms that lay business people can understand and get excited about. The candidate must be able to diagnose what lay business people are trying to verbalize and then walk them through a recommended solution that impacts their business in a way they can understand (yeah, lay business people often don’t articulate well what they want and it’s your job to figure it out -- that’s why the job is a challenge).

Primary Duties Include:
Speaking with potential customers interested in purchasing Google Maps licenses.

Helping potential customer visualize what their Map application will look like and how it will help their business operate better.

Follow-up with potential customers by email and phone.

Closing small deals; securing client signatures.

You Would Be Great For This Position If You Have:
Great verbal communication skills, especially over the phone

Have the ability to sell someone a concept (as opposed to a concrete product)

Have a technical degree (eg, Computer Science)

Love to work hard all day long

Additional compensation includes a no-ceiling, goal-based incentive structure. Base salary depends on experience.
