ThyssenKrupp Elevators' Houston, TX branch currently has a Business Development Representative - Service Sales position immediately available. This career sales professional will aggressively identify and secure maintenance contracts on a full line of elevator and escalator equipment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
Manages assigned sales territory and successfully meets or exceeds annual service sales target goals
Develops strong working relationships with clients, building owners and property managers
Delivers professional sales presentations to current and potential customers
Prepares sales proposals and reports, advises on any issues impacting the customer’s account
Job Requirements :
A Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred. Candidates with at least 5 years of demonstrated success in a sales role will also be considered
Previous experience in or related to the commercial real estate industry is a plus
A minimum of two years experience working in a technical, intangible sales environment is desired
Experienced in relationship selling in an industry with long term sales cycles
Must be self-motivated and have demonstrated ability to stay organized & focused through a multi-step sales process
Must be able to work flexible hours including nights and weekends when required
Excellent communication, organization, time management skills
Possess working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Prior experience working with CRM systems a plus
Strong negotiation, presentation skills, and reasoning skills are necessary
Strong sales and mechanical aptitude.
Willingness to relocate for advancement is preferred
