Are you ready to help our new franchisees start off on the “right” foot?
As our newest Business Development Program (BDP) Specialist you will serve as the primary link between Servpro Industries, Inc. (Corporate Headquarters) and the new franchise business owners within the Canadian territory as their first line of support. You will apply your experience, influence, and functional expertise to create meaningful, productive partnerships with each assigned franchisee.
We are seeking a former business owner/professional that understands the entire gamut of running a business (i.e.: operations, marketing, human resource management, and financials). And if you have worked in the fire/water mitigation and restoration industry, you will be a preferred candidate.
Your main responsibility will be to assist/consult the new business owners once they are approved to own the franchise up through six, monthly consultations, after the Corporate Training classes. You will flawlessly execute the company’s initiatives and teach them to how to adopt the SERVPRO Operating System.

Job Location: Gallatin, TN or Toronto, ON (Canada)
Territory: Canada - travel will be both domestic and international.

------------------------------ Minimum Requirements:
GED/HSD; Bachelor’s degree preferred
5+ years related experience, including general background in business management, HR management, P & L
2+ years in the fire/water mitigation and restoration industry; SERVPRO experience a plus
Thorough understanding of the SERVPRO approved products and equipment, SERVPRO Office Automation tools, marketing systems, and franchise and employee training resources OR capability/willingness to learn these quickly and accurately
Understanding of SERVPRO's Stages of Development; a complete understanding of SERVPRO's Production Guidelines and the understanding of the roles/responsibilities of a Field Training Manager OR capability/willingness to learn these quickly and accurately
Experience with adult learning education/facilitation is preferred
Proficiency within Microsoft Office Suite.
Certifications in IICRC, WRT, and ASD preferred.
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
Excellent written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal communication skills
Valid Driver’s License and clean MVR
US Passport preferred
Travel 50%+
