The Business Finance organization plays a critical role as trusted business partner to the business units, supporting all analysis, reporting and planning needs of the business. We produce budgets, short and long range forecasts; create and analyze business metrics and identify cost savings opportunities; deliver economic insight into the relationships between costs and revenues to improve the financial success of the business going forward.

This position supports the Client Solutions Group in BlackRock Solutions, which is made up of the Fiduciary and Liability Driven Investments (LDI) businesses which are key growth areas of the firm offering strategic long term solutions to our clients. The role is part of the broader Business Finance team which supports the BlackRock Solutions (BRS) and Institutional businesses.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist with all FP&A activities for the Client Solutions Group:

Producing comprehensive monthly business review reports covering revenues, AUM, sales, expenses and headcount

Supporting pricing projects, determining the pricing structure for fiduciary mandates that span multiple product teams

End to end ownership of the Client Solutions AUM reporting, understanding AUM from both a client and an investment management perspective

Providing insightful sales and revenue analysis

Support the monthly expense and revenue forecast processes and the equivalent annual budget processes

Improve and automate processes, including continued enhancements to management reporting

Coordinate across Global Business Finance and Controllers

Ad hoc analysis as required

Skills / Experience:
Experience of financial planning and analysis, preferably in the financial services industry

An ability to work as a team player as well as to accept substantial individual responsibility.

Able to work effectively at all levels of an organization and build strong relationships with team members, managers, and senior executives in multiple locations

Great attention to detail

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft products including Excel and PowerPoint

Proficiency with Essbase/Hyperion or other multi-dimensional analytical tools would be an advantage but is not essential

Bachelor’s or equivalent degree with strong record of academic achievement
