The Busines Operations Analyst - Surgery, provides analytic
support with development and implementation of transformation in the
surgical environment while also providing analytical direction to the
areas supporting surgical operations. Assists with assessment,
mentoring, and support of facility based surgical services leaders.
Provides subject matter expertise to Finance, Analytics, and Process
and Performance Improvement.
Essential Job Duties:
Operational Analytic Consultant Support
Provides analytic direction and support to the Surgical Services
Surgical Services Corporate
Provides analytic support with
assessment, recommendations and support of facility based surgical
services business objectives. Provides subject matter expertise to
Finance, Analytics, Budget Management, and Performance and Process
Surgical Services Information System
Activities: Assesses and supports the maximization of surgical
information systems. Creates and implements Surgical Services
reporting for financial, clinical, quality and statistical data
Facilitates sharing of ideas, strategies, and tactics to achieve
targets. Mobilizes resources required by the opportunities.
Collaborates with the Corporate and Facility leaders on the hand off
and completion of all initiatives.
Develops presentations, work
plans, timelines and milestones. Assumes initial responsibility for
measuring, tracking, monitoring, and reporting initiatives. Develops
status updates. Assists with Facility Planning and Activation.
Surgical Services Staffing
with the assessment, mentoring and support of UHS Surgical Service
Departments with the appropriate Staffing to Demand within their
areas utilizing tools to measure, track, monitor and report their
