Provides human resources consultation and support to designated employee groups and operational areas. Participates in labor contract negotiations. Makes recommendations for changes to existing policies. Uses knowledge of various human resources functions, including staffing, compensation, benefits, training, and employee relations to provide tactical HR support to the leadership team. Consults with management in the strategic planning process and development of human resource strategies that support the area’s business needs. Acts as liaison to other human resources functions. Minimum Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations Management or related field is required. Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. 2. Four to eight years of related professional level Human Resources experience required. Should be proficient in the principles of Human Resources. Previous health care and Labor Relations experience is desirable. 3. Must be knowledgeable and skilled in the use of personal computers and current computer software (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
