BUSINESS PROCESS COORDINATOR/TRAINER

JOB SUMMARY:

Total Safety, the leading global outsourced provider of integrated safety and compliance solutions and products, is looking for an individual to assist in the implementation of a new electronic SMART Inspection program at sites throughout the United States. This is a temporary project position, anticipated to last from 6 to 12 months.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Assist with completion of database set-up and coordinate & train staff and end-users in field locations throughout the us
•Lead the implementation of company asset tracking and SMART Inspection programs at various field sites;
•Provide continual analysis of quality systems and processes, recommending changes in identified areas;
•Identify areas of weakness in processes and complete root cause analysis and recommend and assist in the implementation of corrective an preventive actions;
•Solicit and apply customer feedback and measure key outcomes;

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

•High School diploma with 1-2 years of direct business experience.
•Associates degree, or higher, in Industrial Systems or Business preferred.
•Strong analytical skills.
•Must demonstrate intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, with high computer literacy and solid ability to learn other PC-based software applications.
•Excellent written , presentational, and oral communication skills.
•Exhibit sound and accurate judgment, and demonstrate accuracy, thoroughness and problem solving.
•Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues, with base knowledge of inspection protocols.
•Proficient w/handheld devices (windows mobile)
•Must be willing to travel more than 50% of time.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

Current driver’s license from state of residence, and valid proof of vehicle insurance. Must possess good driving record and be insurable by Total Safety US, Inc. insurance providers for vehicle insurance while driving company vehicles.

Must be able to pass various background and drug/alcohol checks.

Have current TWIC card.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

•Must be able to lift loads up to as much as 50 lbs. and to operate hoist and rigging equipment (with proper training and certifications);
•Must be able to operate forklift equipment (with proper training and certifications);
•Must be willing to travel to remote locations on occasion and to In-Plant Service Centers throughout assigned geographic location. Some overnight travel will be required, and some jobs/projects of long duration (2 or more weeks) will be required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

•Requires work in a shop and/or field environment at a service center or at a customer on-site location as well as in an office environment.
•Must be willing and available to relocate to remote locations should the need arise.
