The Clymb is looking for a Business Solutions Analyst to join our Adventure Travel Program Team and lead the development of scalable business solutions that will help drive value to the business.
This position requires someone that can forecast business needs through strategic modeling, analysis and market research. You will be responsible for identifying systems and improved processes that deliver our work as efficiently and effectively as possible while delivering an exceptional experience to our members. You will be gifted at managing relationships and projects between multiple departments while inspiring and engaging others; you are responsible for building systems and processes that will be critical to the success and scalability of a global adventure travel business. Work collaboratively with the Manager of Adventure Travel Programs to create global development strategies that align with the organizational and departmental objectives.
Oversee the development of scalable business solutions that drive measurable value to the business. Develop, and consistently refine business workflows and process to improve efficiency and quality of program execution.
Provide strategic business solutions and analysis; work closely with Business Intelligence and Analytics team to design kickass tools, reports and dashboards.
Partner with the Manager of Adventures and lead Program Managers/Coordinators to formulate new product and assortment strategies including: destination selection, program type, activity selection and activity level.
Manage complex and fast moving projects, adapt to change, but solve for and balance both short and long term sustainable value to customers and the business.
In a lead role, project manage the requirements, due diligence, RFP, negotiation and implementation of external business solutions.
In a lead role, project manage and liaise with cross-departmental stakeholders to execute on internal Adventures systems, tool creation and improvements.
Analyze current and past KPI trends and create actionable insights and recommendations.
Provide continuous actionable insights based on analysis, industry knowledge, business acumen, and ad-hoc analytics projects.
Proactively manage overall department projects from concept to completion, including any scheduling, resource requirements, and cross-functional efforts. Establish clear communication of project needs, goals, phases and deadlines.
Oversee departmental efforts to optimize workflows, with a strong focus on driving efficiency and scale across a rapidly growing and evolving business.
Manage internal and external communications and set expectations. Act as primary point of contact for the Adventures team on all project related work.
Present department financial information in format that is easy to understand.
Initiate continual process improvement efforts to improve overall business performance across KPI's.
Seek out new vendor relationships and innovative product opportunities.
Bachelors Degree in a Business related field with commensurate experience. Travel/Adventure Industry; international adventure travel experience preferred.
Strong communication skills a must and the ability to scale conversation across technical and non-technical audiences imperative
Experience in Project Management, Business Solutions, or Financial Analyst preferred.
Demonstrated a high level of performance in business management, relationship building, time management, planning and organizing, written and verbal communications, and strategy alignment.
Ability to execute project plans at all levels
Experience with a wide variety of communication tools and techniques. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written; engaging others, recording details, working with people of all skill levels and personalities in a positive manner.
Basic understanding of Ecommerce principles.
The ability to perceive problems and react quickly to effect solutions.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, Powerpoint a minimum)
Ability to work under pressure.
Demonstrated ability to deliver strong results both individually and as a part of a team.
Strong understanding of business solutions strategy, budgeting and forecasting process. Experience presenting strategic forecasts and change proposals.
Salesforce experience is highly preferred.
Experience using project management software tools desired.
Able to work flexible hours including evenings or weekends when requested.
