Business Systems Analyst BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST
Hours: 8:30am - 5:00pm

Description: Re-engineers business operations to improve business results and operational effectiveness. Evaluates business requirements, and models data and/or system requirements. Analyzes and documents business problems. Develops and implements business-testing strategies. Coordinates upgrades and rollouts of projects. May lead projects or sub-projects.
Requirements: Bachelors or Masters Degree in business or technical discipline and 5 years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Knowledge of business operations, objectives, and strategies as well as business process and information flow. Understanding of re-engineering approaches. General knowledge of diverse technologies and new and current architectures. Skills in object, data, and/or process modeling, financial analysis and planning, business value analysis, and business process design.
Looking for someone with 1-5 years of experience.
In this role you will use your business and technical knowledge to participate in the re-engineering of business reporting technology to improve business results. You will evaluate business requirements and/or system requirements. You will develop test plans, execute test scenarios, and log system defects when appropriate to approve new system and reporting behaviors.
Responsibilities:
Evaluates complex business requirements;
Develops and maintains comprehensive business requirement documentation
Develops business client testing strategies, plans cases and conditions; tests and monitors testing efforts;
Prepares user documentation and training materials
Communicates with internal customers on project status
Assist team with Operational Reporting when necessary
May lead projects or sub-projects of moderate complexity
Qualifications:
� Bachelor's degree in business or technical discipline and 5 years' related experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
� Proven experience in Business Requirement Gathering and Writing
� Proven experience with developing and executing test plans
� Knowledge of business operations, objectives, and strategies as well as business process and information flow
� Understanding of re-engineering approaches
General knowledge of diverse technologies and new and current architectures
