General Description:

The Business Systems Support Manager is responsible for supporting end-user departmental initiatives and cross functional projects involving Oracle Financials of moderate to high complexity, process improvement initiatives, testing and implementation.

Duties and Responsibilities:
•Business Process Owner whom manages month-end and year-end system close cycles for Oracle Accounts Payable (AP), Project Accounting (PA), Fixed Assets (FA), and Oracle Payroll modules. Manage on-going system production support for Oracle AP, PA, FA, Payroll, and AR modules.
•Coordinate with Cognizant (Production Support Team) in researching and resolving production issues and make recommendations for system or process improvements in compliance with GAAP.
•Manage implementation of all supported Oracle subsystems enhancements, changes, patches and upgrades including developing sample data.
•Coordinate and collaborate with vendor support teams, end-user departments and consultants on special projects. As an example, function as the lead on the Oracle R12 Upgrade project for AP, PA, FA, Payroll and AR modules by identifying gaps and key areas of opportunity to improve current complex processes.
•Create training documentation and execute training programs on all new processes and systems for end-user groups.
•Provide training, technical support troubleshooting and assistance to programmers and consultants with application upgrades, which include targeting issues, testing updated code, and supporting rollout of new versions for supported subsystems.
•Serve as liaison between vendor/support team and business end-users.
•Requires thorough understanding of 7-Elevens unique franchisee agreement.
•Ensure that system controls and processes meet all internal and external audit requirements.
•Manage the business systems support team to ensure a strong team environment that proactively supports all aspects of the Oracle Applications and end-user departments.
Position Requirements
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Education: High School + Equiv Exp or Bach/4 Yr Degree
Experience: 6, Oracle ERP
Expert knowledge in Oracle Financials (Payroll, Payables, Fixed Assets, Projects, and AR)
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
Strong project facilitation skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Good understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and 7-Eleven's Franchis
