Key Finance partner and advisor to the respective Business Unit assigned

Translates market variance drivers into financial and business terms to maintain financial outlook for the Business Unit and provide insight to the Division Management team

Ensures, in conjunction with the Business Unit that set financial targets are achieved
Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities: Reporting: Responsible for Business Unit level forecasting & reporting: accrual estimates, YTD variance and customer brand/profitability
Strategic Advisor :
Identifies financial opportunities and efficiencies within respective Business Unit,
demonstrates ability to collaborate in preparing Latest Estimates, Annual Operating Plan, etc., while advising and influencing the Business Unit to make sound financial decisions
Training:
Assists with distributor management where necessary and provides PRUSA systems training
Pricing
: Assists with pricing management and pricing program decisions for the respective Business Unit
Nature & Scope (Including Dimensions):
Position typically works with the Business Unit Director, Field Trade Marketing Managers, distributors, brokers and
key off-premise
trade accounts.
Communication can include sensitive information, requiring confidentiality and discretion in dealings with contacts.
Incumbent plans activities for this position weekly, monthly, yearly with individual initiative in daily routine.
Key Competencies: Education:
Bachelor’s Degree Required (Finance preferred); Proficient in MS-Office, Cognos, RAD, A&PO and Nielsen.
Experience / Background:
Minimum 5-7 years in business analysis, preferably in Wines and Spirits or consumer goods.
Strong understanding of P&L preparation and analysis of variances.
Previous commercial experience beneficial.
Required Skills/Competencies:
A successful individual will demonstrate strong analytical skills, as well as a high level of problem solving and reasoning skills that manifest themselves in the successful analysis of key business unit performance indicators. Ability to organize and manage work to achieve results and track performance so that problems are detected early or prevented entirely is key competencies for success.
Proven track record of successful analytical recommendations and implementations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are critical.
