Our client, a regional convenience store chain In the Southwest and Deep South, has aggressive growth plans for the very near future. This client is seeking highly motivated, self starters, sales oriented, professional, Experienced C-Store District Managers. with strong leadership ability and a Person of Character.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for all aspects of store operations, including the profitability, growth and operation of 8-14 company operated stores
Provide leadership to a team of Managers to attain company targets for stores sales, inside sales margins, expenses, training, turnover, and profitability of each store location
Train and develop Store Managers, and Assistant Managers to ensure future positions are staffed with capable employees
Meet and exceed key performance indicators: territory/store sales, gross margins, managing/administrating controllable expenses, fuel gallon tracking
Act as a liaison between the Field, Marketing, Human Resources, Accounting and other support functions
90% of your time will be in the 'Field'.

Preferred Bachelor’s Degree however will consider 3-5 years related, C-Store multi-management experience required or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have a valid driver’s license and provide proof of insurance.
Thorough knowledge of retail practices and procedures, including personnel policies.
Written communication skill to compose reports and work-related manuals. Oral communication skill to communicate with customers, co-workers, vendors, and business contacts in a courteous and professional manner. Interpersonal communication skill to negotiate agreements favorable to the Company, reconciling differences to arrives at acceptable solutions.
Ability to develop and administer an expense budget for several profit centers.

** This is a special opportunity. We are hiring experienced District Managers at a DM pay scale, for expansion to occur early in 2013. Until your permanent assignment, you will be used for special projects and needs.**
