CAD Asset Management Specialist, Tinker AFB- OK

The Asset Management (AM) Specialist is responsible for providing day-to-day office and some field support for the Tinker AFB AM Program. The AM Specialist must be able to work autonomously on various assignments.
Regular activities include AutoCAD
of facility space, real property, facility utility information; update of AM and energy databases.
Compile data as it becomes available and update AM database, CAD and GIS sources
Conduct field surveys of Tinker AFB facilities for updating space use, real property status, and utility data
Employee should be able to polyline the interior of a building with out help; once polyline rules have been communicated.
(Employee must show working knowledge of AutoCAD experience.)
Employee should be able to follow through on tasks to completion, and move on to other tasking without supervision.
Employee must exemplify the ability to problem solve in individual tasking as well as when working with other team members to find solutions.
The employee should be able to explain the importance of accomplishing tasks in a timely manner, and meeting task deadlines.
AutoCAD work can be tedious work.
Accurate drawings are an expectation.
Data collection must be thorough and accurate.
Employee must be able to remember tasking instructions after meetings have concluded.
Good Communication Skills
Employee must maintain good relationships with client, team members, and be willing to communicate with unfamiliar base personnel on a regular basis to obtain accurate information.
Various presentation types may also be necessary from time to time.
4 year Degree
in engineering, environmental or Information technology discipline
- Experience working in DoD environment
GIS experience a plus
