          We are currently seeking a CAD Operator to work the first shift at our Conover Folding Carton Plant, Conover, NC.

          Job Summary:

          Verify schedule for upcoming needs. Read blueprints. Calculate rule heights and scoring. Take samples and convert them into a die layout. Run plotter to make die vinyls and coating blankets. Order job tooling based on job specs and production needs. Create Samples on CAD program and reproduce it on the plotter to make samples. Knife dies. Clean and rubber dies. Nick dies for production run. Have understanding and knowledge to run EZ-Bender and manual bender. In addition to current duties must evaluate low performing dies for possible production improvement. Actively involved with management and lead operators. Provides feedback and continuous improvement ideas. Assists with department reporting and data collection. Maintain housekeeping to standards set by management. Additional job duties as assigned by department manager. Compliance with all workplace rules, policies and procedures.

          Requirements
          • ArtiosCAD experience is a must, die experience is a plus, but not required.
          • Excellent math skills.
          • Written and verbal communication skills.
          • Excellent computer skills.
          • Attention to detail.
          • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
