Supports and assists in the design, development, production, testing, operation and maintenance of components and equipment.
Prepares detailed drawings and layouts and conduct materials testing.
Performs equipment maintenance, calibration, mechanical and electrical repairs, adjustments and monitoring of products under development.
May test models, write reports, identify problems and suggest solutions.
Will create drawings from models.
Will assign tolerancing with assistance from design team.
Will apply feature controls (G, D&T) as required.
High school degree required. Associates degree in CAD preferred.
Experienced with complex instruments, testing equipment and gauges.
Blueprint Reading at an Intermediate or higher level.
Strong communication and teamwork required.
Custom design experience preferred.
