Role: Provide case management for behavioral health services provided under the Enhanced Care Health Option (ECHO) and the Autism Spectrum Demonstration (ASD) for TRICARE South Region Contract eligible beneficiaries. Participate in the collaborative process of assessment, planning, facilitation and advocacy for options and services to meet the beneficiary’s health needs through communication and available resources to promote quality cost-effective outcomes. Identify, evaluate and coordinate behavioral health services for high-risk beneficiaries. Educate and link beneficiaries and their families with services through Military Treatment Facilities (MTF), Federal, State and local community resources. Performs within the scope of his/her licensure.
The Department of Defense Contract requires U.S. citizenship for this position as well as a successful background investigation based on the completion of the Questionnaire for Public Trust.
- Education: Master’s Degree (in Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling) Doctor of Philosophy (PHD), Doctor of Psychology (PsyD), or Doctor of Education (Ed.D), or Associate’s Degree in Nursing required. Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Licensures/Certifications: Current, Active, Unrestricted, Valid Florida License in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, Registered Nursing or as Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). LMHCs must meet TRICARE Policy Chapter 11, Section 11 as a TRICARE Certified Mental Health Counselor. Case Management Certification (CCM) required within two years of original hire date. Once obtained, maintain a Current, Active Unrestricted CCM.
- Relevant Work Experience: Minimum of three years clinical experience. Prefer psychiatric mental health/substance abuse field experience. Two years must be direct case management experience.
