Shift: Days, Possible staffing of evening.weekend recreational events.
Work week: PT 20hrs/wk
Provides a range of clinical services, under supervision, that are focused on chemical dependence for primarily an adult population that includes: screening, assessment, treatment planning, group therapy, didactic presentations, case monitoring and record keeping. Also provides individual counseling and services that are specialized such as gender related issues. Serves as a mentor on an assigned basis to Non-certified Addiction and Addiction Counselor Trainees.
Formal Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience: 3 years
License Requirements: NYS Credentialed Alcoholism/Substance
Registration Requirements: Abuse Counselor
Skill Desired: This position requires a minimum formal education of a High School Diploma and 3 years experience.
