Under close supervision the Sales Customer Care Representative will answers in-bound sales calls to acquire new residential customers and to identify additional Suddenlink Communications products and services for existing customers by maximizing sales opportunities.

FULL-TIME shifts = M-F 8am-8pm and Sat 8-5


• Provides quality internal and external customer service surrounding Suddenlink’s values
• Greets and serves customers with the highest degree of courtesy and professionalism
• Determines customer needs in order to sell or upgrade services
• Promotes and executes current marketing campaign information
• Ensures customers understand operating requirements of all products
• Explains bills and Suddenlink policies and procedures concerning prices, billing and service
• Establishes customer accounts using the applicable billing system
• Enters pertinent information to customer accounts accurately including credits, payment and billing information
• Accesses customer databases or other electronic files and/or paper reference material to locate customer records and research account history
• Insures revenue goals are met and exceeded by identifying the added values and benefits of products and services
• May contact customers regarding Suddenlink services
• Performs other functional area duties, as required to meet business needs

Position Requirements


• Possess professional verbal, written and interpersonal communication techniques
• Vision acuity required for extensive use with PC, calculator and reference materials
• Ability to perform repetitive motions of the wrist, hands and fingers to use a PC keyboard calculator, fax and other standard office machines
• Hand and finger dexterity to carry and to use tools and equipment as necessary
• Ability to multi task in a fast paced customer focused environment
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift and move up to 30lbs.


• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year customer service experience
• Proficiency in using a Windows-based computer
• PC keyboarding skills
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to take ownership and initiative to address customer needs
• Excessive knowledge and application of basic mathematics
• Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
• Ability to work independently and with others
• Must pass validated pre-employment computer assessment
• Must successfully pass drug and background screenings


• Sales and customer service experience


• Professional, fast-paced, multi-tasking, customer focused environment
• Ability to work in climate-controlled areas
• Exposure to typical office environment
