Under direct supervision, serve as a customer care representative specializing in sales. Answer inbound residential calls concerning new service and service additions, service downgrades and service disconnects. Primary focus is on maximizing revenue by identifying and meeting customer needs. Use trained sales skills to meet and exceed target revenue goals.

Illustrative Accountabilities:
• Answer incoming customer calls in a professional and courteous manner
• Be aware of current marketing campaigns and use the appropriate promotions in order to increase revenue and improve customer satisfaction
• Provide information on Suddenlink video, data and phone services, including benefits, features and pricing of products and services
• Update customer records and schedule installation or service upgrades as appropriate
• Create accurate work orders for use by the field service technician
• Maintain a high level of quality and productivity, as evidenced by monthly quality ratings, attendance, sales close rates and idle time when scheduled to respond to calls
• Work assigned schedule
Position Requirements
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Skill in using a Windows-based PC and sending/receiving email
• Keyboarding skills
• Call center, customer service and sales experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Good command of the English language along with good communication skills
• Ability to take ownership and initiative to address customer needs
• Knowledge of basic mathematics
