Performs various customer care activities and related
services in the patient care area necessary to deliver personal
services and comfort measures to the patient including phlebotomy,
EKG's, and simple physical therapy, ages infant to geriatric. Must be
willing to cross train and float to meet the needs of the facility.
High school graduate or equivalent including
ability to read, write, and have working knowledge of medical
terminology. Completion of formal training program for
Phlebotomy Technicians or comparable training in phlebotomy.
Previous hospital experience or satisfactory completion of
Phlebotomy/Medical Assistant training program preferred. Possesses
good communication skills in order to relate to customers
Ability to monitor telemetry patients. Computer skills, order entry
and ADT functions. Current BLS certification.
