This position is responsible for providing high quality, client focused service and for providing leadership and direction of the internal operations of the district. The Team Leader works closely with the Claims Resolution Manager to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of all facets of the hospital-patient-Chamberlin Edmonds partnership in accordance with established policy and federal/state rules and regulations. Primary responsibilities are related to supervising the Client Support Specialists (CSS), Resolve Application Specialists (RAS) and Claims Processing Specialists (CPS) assigned to that office/district.
•Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, nursing or related healthcare field
•3-5 years practice in one of the following settings: healthcare, social services, or related government agency
•Educated in the application requirements and processes for federal SSI/SSDI and CO State medicaid programs
•Ability to apply knowledge of federal and state programs to benefit coverage for the client.
•Strong communication skills (verbal & written); demonstrated experience working with people of various educational and socioeconomic backgrounds (healthcare setting preferred), experience communicating with government caseworkers and hospital personnel
•Strong organization skills – ability to prioritize, plan, and follow tasks through to completion without direct supervision
•Proficient computer skills in Microsoft products: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
•Reliable transportation required.
•Previous supervisory experience required
•Knowledge of medical terminology

•Ability to prepare and maintain detailed records, files, reports and other correspondence
