The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation, Division of Podiatry, at the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville, seeks a full-time faculty position at the non-tenure accruing level of Assistant/Associate Professor to serve as Division Chief of Podiatry and Program Director of the Podiatry Residency Program.
This position will report to the Chairman of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation at the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Provide and maintain a high level of quality in-patient intermediate care services in all aspects of Podiatry.
Direct the Podiatry Residency Program.
Provide clinical teaching of trainees in Podiatry and participate in the educational program.
Responsible for excellent communication with primary care physicians.
Assist in marketing the Podiatry Program to community physicians and managed care organizations.
Participate in monthly division meetings, administrative functions and institutional committees as requested.
DPM and BC/BE in Podiatry.
A post-offer health assessment is required.
