As an Associate in Benefit Payment or SEI Operations you will be responsible for leading a team focused on transaction processing, daily cash settlement, reconciliation, and ensuring operational controls are maintained.
Manage a team of specialists and oversee the process associated with the core operational functions
Manage complex operational and cash issues.
Lead and motivate cross-functional teams and interact with all levels
Be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize and prioritize work
Provide Senior Management Updates, as well as necessary escalations
Ownership of Process management and controls associated with core operational functions. This includes regular management review of MIS for aging, number and dollar outstanding, as well as, identification of CSA issues, SSAE16 certification, and other audit requirements.
Developing headcount and expense plans and executing on them
Communication and relationship building with client service, product, technology, financial, senior CIB operations management on issues and strategies
Staff development and people management for a direct team which consists of exempt and non-exempt staff
Bachelor's degree (preferable concentration in Finance, Economics or Business Management)
Minimum 5 years in management role with strong team building skills
ERISA, pension, payroll tax and Accounting Principles a plus
2+ years customer service skills
Minimum 3 years experience in Financial Industry
Excellent analytical, organizational and leadership skills
Attention to detail
Must be a team player with the ability to network with co-workers
Ability to multi-task, work in tight time frames
Display excellent organizational skills and ability to be proactive
Demonstrate a flexible approach
To be able to work efficiently as an individual in addition to contributing positively to a strong team environment and team goals
Possess excellent written and oral communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft software applications
