As an Analyst in Securities Operations, you will be responsible for the assets of JPMorgan's CIB Operatiions. The job responsibility provides servicing to the world's largest institutional investors, broker dealers, hedge funds, and private equity firms. CIB Operations is the global industry leader of $14 trillion assets under custody and serves over 80 markets worldwide.
You will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of client instructions received from clients, agents, Third Party Administrators, or internal partners. You will review and manage client instructions within market driven deadlines. You will also be responsible for the timely and accurate response to incoming client inquires.
You will liaise with operations and client service departments for problem resolution and respond to external clients, depositories, and agents as needed. You will also handle telephone and email inquiries from clients as well as provide status updates.
The major functions are:
Monitoring work queues and cash activity, providing required client engagement for resolution
Handling complex processing and servicing of transactions
Trade capture, processing, and other various custody recordkeeping functions
Participate and/or initiate funds transfers and cash wire processes
Serve as an escalation point and/or second level approval of transactions
May have direct customer contact
Ensuring all incoming inquiries and subsequent resolution is executed according to established service levels
Reconciling, researching, and resolving any cash discrepancies, overdrafts, and long balances
Ensuring all client, risk, and performance related metrics are provided according to established service levels
Ensuring all regulatory and compliance requirements are followed, including maintaining relevant and current procedures, risk items are escalated appropriately, and documents are filed and archived according to corporate policy.
Maintaining a controlled environment consistent with JPMorgan Chase standards and accounting policy
Bachelor degree required, preferably in Finance, Accounting or Economics
Two or more years of supervisory experience
Ability to multi-task
Attention to detail
Ability to be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize and prioritize work
Strong verbal and writing skills
Professional and proactive approach to work, problem solver

Two or more years of experience in the securities industry with knowledge of all types of listed and Alternative security types including Fixed Income, Equities, and Options.
