The CIB Marketing team supports the businesses' revenue goals by developing innovative marketing and communications programs that identify, reach and engage clients and prospective clients.
As the CIB Marketing Business Manager, you will report to the Senior Business Manager for Marketing, Strategy and HR and will be based in New York. In this role, you will work closely with the Chief Marketing Officers (CMOs) and their teams to provide counsel on and execute against a number of high-priority projects.
Be a strategic advisor to CIB Marketing and its management and employees. Establish business strategy and priorities in conjunction with CMOs
Consult, develop proposals, and execute on a broad range of business management-related items, including financial plans, operating model, governance structure, processes and procedures, strategic initiatives, and quality reviews
Develop and execute upon the CIB Marketing budget, ensuring alignment to the businesses’ marketing strategies and priorities. Create reporting and review structure for on-going management
Create plans for and reviews against annual, quarterly and on-going milestones, including formal quarterly business reviews and presentations
Ownership and oversight for a number of BAU business management items, including invoice approval / CFO sign-off, real estate strategy and planning, contingency planning, control issues, etc.
Research, own, and solve a variety of day-to-day issues and questions on behalf of the global team
Minimum of 5 years Business Management, Finance and/or Marketing experience with experience covering projects of the type described above
Commercial mindset and knowledge of or strong interest in learning CIB Marketing
Demonstrated ability to lead large scale transformative projects and budget processes
Strong consulting, influencing, negotiation and presentation skills
Energetic, self motivated and effective under pressure. Must enjoy the challenge of working within a fast-paced and demanding working environment
Strong analytical skills. Creative thinker and pragmatic problem solver who is able to develop succinct recommendations and implementation plans
Ability to work collaboratively and develop strong working partnerships with clients and colleagues; ability to deal effectively with all levels of staff and management
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong project management skills
Strong multi-tasker with the ability to prioritize
Ability to manage confidential/ sensitive information on a frequent basis. Excellent judgment
