Position Summary

The Global Strategy Lead for the Fund Accounting and Administration product is a newly created position within the J.P. Morgan Custody and Fund Services business. J.P. Morgan’s clients are increasingly requiring consistent service and capability as they expand globally. The Strategy Lead will align client needs and industry trends to J.P. Morgan capability, setting out a multi year product road map to address service enhancements. With over 400 of the world’s leading Asset Gatherers and Managers, holding $xxxtrillion of asset under management across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring consistency of service is both challenging and vital to achieving the long term goals of the business.

The Strategy Lead will be responsible for


Owning and ensuring consistency of the Global Product definitions supporting the business


Setting out a multi year product roadmap


Organising and communicating the change agenda to clients

The role will work in partnership with the regional heads of the Fund Accounting & Administration product.

Key Responsibilities


Capture the drivers of change impacting the product through internal and external engagement with partners


Work with the regional product heads to establish a multi year product roadmap


Syndicate the product roadmap with Product Delivery, Technology, Operations and Client Service partners to determine execution path and required investment spend


Syndicate the product roadmap with Segment and Sales leads to gain client buy in, engagement and feedback


Own the product definitions and working in partnership with the regional product heads drive out global consistency, capturing local market and client nuances as required


Capture exceptions to the product definition and ensure appropriate escalation and sign off with functional and regional partners


Incorporate Derivative valuations into the core Fund Accounting product working with the Product Delivery and Processing Centre teams


Skills & Experience


Extensive domain knowledge of the Fund Services product suite


Excellent report writer and summarizer of complex issues/solutions


Proven track record of excellent communication skills to all levels within and outside the Firm


Director-level knowledge of how to overcome obstacles; negotiate win-win solutions between external and internal clients; and manage relationships and expectations (both ways).
